Order by: Lot Ascending
Lot# 1 : B & Ls Rock E Colonel Sunday (HOF)
After accomplishing his Congress Grand Championship and earning his Hall of Fame, Colonel has made a name for himself as an outstanding sire. His foals win in the show ring and are level headed, extremely easy to work with and they have dainty heads and lots of chrome. Because of their chrome and presence, they will stand out in the show ring and be noticed! Colonel's crest has now tipped to the side but has not affected his potency as a sire. Dakota Shetlands contributes much of its success to Colonel and his offspring. He will do the same for his new owner.
Lot# 2 : Establo Indiana
Indiana is a radiant silver dapple with a very light mane and tail. She did well in the show ring but has truly excelled as a brood mare. She is an own daughter of Bristol Juan Rojo and is a full sister to Establo Isabela. She will produce the type of double registered foals that will win in AMHR, ASPC or as foundation certified foals. Indiana sells exposed to Bristol San Juan.
Lot# 3 : N.J.s Gourmet Treat
What a joy it was to show N.J.s Gourmet Treat. She loved showing and was therefore lots of fun to show. Plus she did her share of winning. She passes on that magical show presence to her foals. Her foals generally have lots of chrome and stand out in the herd. She lives up to her name in that she is a real treat to have in the broodmare band.
Lot# 5 : 2011 Sorrel Pinto Colt
There are not many colts who stand out in a herd like this one does. He has a presence about him which demands your total attention. He seems to be always showing even as he is playing in the pasture with the other foals. The first thing that you notice about this colt is his head. It is beautifully marked and is quite dished. He also has a nice eye. If you are looking for a pinto colt who will make you proud in the show ring and then bring great bloodlines to your future foals, this is the colt for you. And he is double registered and Arenosa breeding.
Lot# 6 : Establo Papaya
Every farm seems to have a couple of "grand old mares." This is one of ours even though she is not all that old. Papaya did quite well at Nationals (she placed fourth in her large class) and has now taken her place in our broodmare band. Her foals have been top of the line. She sells exposed to LMJ Tuff E Nuff. This mare has a very pretty, small head and a great neck. I expect great things from this cross.
Lot# 8 : Establo Francesca
This six year old mare is a very pretty red and white mare who has consistently produced very nice foals for us. She is sired by the great Kewpie's Klassic Kreation of Arenosa. Her dam's side includes some of the most recognizable names in Arenosa history, so if you want the very best that Arenosa bloodlines have to offer, this is it. This mare is double registered so will be able to produce the Shetland look for you. Plus, Francesca has a very pretty head which she normally passes on to her offspring.
Lot# 9 : Establo Gala
Establo Gala has a very impressive pedigree with some of the old time greats in her background. Her pedigree is reflected in the beautiful foals she is producing.
Lot# 13 : Rhapsodys Fashion Doll
In 2007 Rhapsody's Fashion Doll was the National Grand Champion Classic Mare Under. She has proven to be an excellent broodmare as her foals are showing and winning. She has had four foals for us, and all have been in the show ring. Her 2011 foal is one of the most exceptional fillies that we ever raised. We believe that this mare has proven without a shadow of a doubt that she is a superb broodmare. She has the bloodlines to back up the beauty of the foals. This is a mare that will enhance any broodmare band.
Lot# 15 : LA-Mays Cher Melody
Melody is a great young mare who has produced some nice foals. Her 2011 filly is her copper red color and is very refined. This young mare can add some impressive bloodlines to your broodmare herd as she is sired by B & L's Rock "E" Philharmonic (HOF). Not only does she carry the important Rock E bloodlines, she is also a pleasure to work with. The moment you see this mare you will know she is a Philharmonic daughter. Lot #19 is her 2011 Filly by B & Ls Rock E Colonel Sunday.
Lot# 16 : 2011 Sorrel Colt
This is the only B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday weanling colt that we have in the auction, and he is outstanding. He has perfect markings: plenty of chrome on the legs and an absolutely perfect blaze on his small, dished head. Every time that we really look at this colt, we think he gets better. His dam, Masters Golden Show Doll, is sired by the late, great Captain Show-Man. The rest of her pedigree is just as impressive, so this young colt is destined for the show ring and the breeding barn. However, we all know that great stallions make great geldings, and we believe that this colt would be one of the best geldings around.
Lot# 17 : Envision of Brush Creek
We first saw Izzie when Bruce Becker was showing her at Congress in the weanling class. We thought she was something special and ended up owning her. She was the National Grand Champion Modern Pleasure Mare Over in 2009. She also achieved her HOF that year. Izzy was then sent to be trained to drive, and she has excelled at driving also. This year she achieved her HOF in Classic Country Pleasure. As a testimony to her training, I have shown Izzy in amateur classes at both local shows and at Congress. Let me assure you that if I can feel comfortable driving her, anyone can. I would not sell her to a very young person to drive, but most older youth can drive her as well as most any amateur. She is very consistent and level headed in the show ring. This is a mare that you can count on to take you to the winner's circle in driving and then produce future halter and driving prospects for you.
Lot# 18 : Resplendence EGF
Resplendence is a young mare who boasts Pan's Atomic by SG Up And Atom as her sire. She embodies all of her sire's outstanding attributes and will make a valuable contribution to anyone's broodmare band. She is also good enough to go into the show ring should the buyer want. She has proven herself in our broodmare band as she foaled a very nice filly (Lot #29) this spring by Wall Street Ultra Kool. She is bred back to Kool for 2012.
Lot# 19 : 2011 Sorrel Filly
This filly tends to get ignored in B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday's pasture of foals because she is one of the few "plain" sorrels, but she is anything but plain. She just lacks some chrome. Her dam, La-May's Cher Melody is an own daughter of B & L's Rock "E" Philharmonic, and you all know what these daughters have done for the industry. We look for this filly to follow in her sire's and grandsire's hoof prints. You will be making a mistake to ignore this one.
Lot# 20 : Dakota Sunday Celebration
ASPC Futurity nominated/eligible.
Every once in awhile a foal comes along that you just know is going to be one of the great ones. Celebration is just such a foal. What a filly she is! She placed quite high in both her futurity class and her open class at Congress. She just loves to show! She is sired by B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday (HOF), a national grand champion stallion, and is out of Pan's Crimson Celebration by SG Up and Atom (HOF) by Bar-G's Rock "O". I guess it should not be a surprise that she is an outstanding filly with bloodlines like that. This filly can do it all for you----show for you now and then be a great addition to the broodmare band.
Lot# 21 : Wall Street Ultra Kool
This 2008 Rock "E" bred stallion has one of the easiest dispositions to get along with of any stallion that we have had. But even more important than that is his conformation. We really like the way this boy looks whether he is in the show ring or the round pen. He always looks great. Kool has also proven his ability as a sire. We were very impressed with the fillies that he produced this year: Lots #29 and #34. Kool is the son of Wall Street Rock E Ultra Bright so carries the dilute gene. We know this stallion will produce for you.
Lot# 22 : Bristol Sante Fe
Bristol Sante Fe is another of the double registered Arenosa mares which have worked so well for us. Sante Fe is a very consistent producer of high quality foals and gives all that she has to them, so they do really well and mature early. She has a very typey head with a nice eye and an impressive neck. This is the type of mare that you can put in your broodmare band and ignore. She will simply produce winners for you time after time. The bottom picture is an example of her quality foals. This is her exceptional 2010 colt, Dakota San Juan Lorenzo.
Lot# 23 : Dakota San Juan Celestina
Dakota San Juan Celestina is a beautiful buckskin mare that will stand out in any broodmare band. She is 50% Arenosa as her sire is Bristol San Juan. While her initial appeal is her color, upon closer examination it is obvious that she is built just right as well. We were very pleased with her filly born this year, so we are confident that she will have outstanding foals for you as well.
Lot# 24 : Masters Golden Show Doll
This sorrel mare with lots of chrome is an own daughter of Master's Show-man. There are just not many of these kinds of mares left. This is your chance to buy a little bit of Shetland history. But the great thing about Show Doll is that she produces top quality foals. On a very consistent basis, her foals have been some of the best we have produced. Check out her 2011 colt Lot #16. This colt was not a fluke; she just produces quality.
Lot# 25 : 2011 Bay Filly
This filly has everything. She has an incredibly beautiful head which is quite small and has a blaze. The filly also has socks, three of them. Over the years, I have wanted a Shetland filly that looked just like a little Arabian, and this is the one. Everytime I look at her out in the pasture, I think Arabian. Plus her sire is B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday, a Congress grand champion stallion, and her dam is Rhapsody's Fashion Doll, a Congress grand champion under mare. With a pedigree like that, this little filly cannot help but be a winner. This filly needs to be shown.
Lot# 26 : Dakota San Juan Seraphina
This filly is ready to go into the show ring with you! Her head and neck will catch the judge's attention and then hold it! When she has finished her show career, she has the bloodlines to make a valuable contribution to your broodmare band.
Lot# 27 : FW Sunday Afternoon Delight
Afternoon Delight is the offspring of J T's Show Girl and Colonel. After winning two grands as a weanling, Delight has continued her winning ways in the show ring. She was awarded her HOF this year. This mare can do most anything that you might ask her to do. She can continue to be shown or she can take her place in your broodmare band. Her breeding indicates that she excel as a broodmare as she has done as a show mare.
Lot# 28 : Dakota Colonels the Adjutant
Adjutant is the third Rhapsody's Fashion Doll foal we have raised and he is spectacular, one of our best. He is extremely up headed and has a real presence about him. He has lots of chrome to draw attention to him. His outstanding conformation earns him the respect to be not only a top notch show horse, but also an incredible herd sire.
Lot# 29 : 2011 Smokey Black Filly
This filly is another of my 2011 foal favorites. She has the neck of her dam, Respendence EGF, and the color of her sire, Wall Street's Ultra Kool. This filly has a very upright neck, and she knows how to use it. With a pedigree like hers, she will do well in the show ring. And her show presence will not hurt either. We expect great things from this filly.
Lot# 30 : JEM Miss Behavin
We purchased Miss Behavin' to be a part of our broodmare herd, but we decided to show her in 2006, and we are glad we did. When this mare showed, she caught everyone's attention. She uses her neck like no other. She was reserve champion in her open mare class and in her futurity class at Nationals.
Lot# 31 : Martins Diamonds Marquis
Marquis is another of our young Shetland mares that not only carries a fantastic pedigree but also has proven herself to be an outstanding broodmare. Check out Lot 17 to see the kind of foals this mare is producing. This mare is heavily Rock "E" bred (her grand sire is B & L's Bar G's Rock "E" Hershey Bar) and seems to pass on that Rock "E" look to her foals. This mare will fit right in to any broodmare band and carry on her already proven ability to produce quality.
Lot# 32 : Traditions Classy Illusion
Illusion can boast about her pedigree as she is sired by Wall Streets Prince of Illusion, by SWF Atoms Illusion, by SG Up and Atom. Her dams side includes such luminaires as Raven of Bird Haven, by Lee - Land Chile and Sugar and Spice FMF, by Spit - N - Image. The great thing about this mare is that her looks and her type are as good as the pedigree. She has a typey head, a long neck and beautiful body. All in all this mare will be a great addition to anyone's broodmare band. She sells exposed to LMJ Tuff E Nuff.
Lot# 33 : Pans Crimson Celebration
Pan's Crimson Celebration is a beautiful sorrel mare who is sired by SG Up and Atom. She has produced wonderful foals for us including Sunday Celebration, Lot #20, and this year's filly, Lot #34. This is a very special mare who requires some extra attention, but that is all worth it when you see the foal that she has produced.
Lot# 34 : 2011 Buckskin Filly
This filly is sired by Wall Street's Ultra Kool and is a magnificent buckskin with dark points and one white sock. She is absolutely stunning. That great color is even more impressive when combined with a sleek neck and a dainty, dished head. You can drive all over the country looking for a top notch show filly, but you won't find anything any nicer than this Pan's Crimson Celebration foal. This filly deserves to be shown and will do well for you.
Lot# 36 : Rhapsodys Lyrical Lilly
Lyric possesses a fantastic presence. Her elegant neck reaches for the sky and highlights her beautiful head. In the spring she is palomino and in the fall she is grey. Whatever color, she is a wonderful mare who earned four grands as a yearling. Her sire is Rudolph's Golden Comanche, and her dam is B & L's Rock E Fashionable Lyric.
Lot# 37 : Artic Maid by George & Colt
Dilute lovers - ATTENTION!!! Arctic Maid by George is a cremello mare with a beautifully dished head who boasts Buckeroo on her sires side of the pedigree. Her dams side includes Little Kings Buck on Broadway which only intensifies her buckeroo lineage. This young mare sells with her cremello colt at her side. He is sired by Establo Maximo. He is a top quality colt.
Lot# 38 : 2011 Bay Filly
If you want up headed with a "look at me presence," this is the filly for you. Her long neck is topped off with a wonderfully refined head. She is another B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday filly. Her dam is Wilk. Talk About Charisma who goes back to Ramble Ridge Rocket. With this impressive pedigree, it is no wonder that this filly is destined for great things whether it be in the show ring or the broodmare band.
Lot# 39 : Dakota San Juan Ernesto
This boy is out of one of our top producing mares, who was also a grand champion mare. His sire is a AMHR Hall of Fame & AMHR National Grand Champion Stallion. Ernesto is a full brother to Dakota San Juan Bella Rosa (HOF) and Dakota San Juan Rinaldo, AMHR 2010 Reserve National Champion Yearling Gelding Over.
Lot# 40 : Flabys Rising Star
When we were selling our smaller mares in order to breed over miniatures, we knew that we had to keep Flaby's Rising Star. She would not be for sale today if we were not having a complete dispersal. She is just one of those great producing mares that form the foundation of any great broodmare band. Star is the only AMHA/AMHR mare that we still own, and she is very simply one of the best. We showed her for several years, and she was successful. She sells exposed to LMJ Tuff E Nuff.
Lot# 41 : J.T.s Show Girl
What can we say about J.T.'s Show Girl? She just very simply does what she is supposed to do, and she does it well----has a very good foal every year. She is one of those mares that you put in the broodmare band and sort of forget until she foals. Then you are impressed once again with the quality of her foal. This mare has many good years ahead of her to provide you with some outstanding foals. And she will do just that.
Lot# 42 : Establo Maximo
If you ever saw the mare, Establo Rosa Maria, you will remember her. Establo Maximo is out of that beautiful mare, and he continued the winning ways of her offspring. He won several grand championships and was the 2007 National Supreme Futurity Halter Horse Over. We have not used this young a lot, but the foals that he has sired have had the same dished head that he has. If you are after that very, very dished head in your foals, Maximo can sire them. You will not be sorry if you take this stallion home.
Lot# 44 : Wilk. Talk About Charisma
Charisma excelled at the one show we took her to as a yearling. This Ramble Ridge Rocket granddaughter has now proven herself as a broodmare as one of her daughters has received her HOF in halter. Another daughter has been shown extensively in both open and amateur driving, halter obstacle, jumping and halter classes. She has really made a name for herself in the Texas show ring. Her 2012 foal should also excel as it is sired by Bristol San Juan. You can't go wrong there.
Lot# 46 : 2011 Palomino Filly
Here you have some of the best known AMHR/ASPC bloodlines in the business. This filly's sire is Bristol San Juan, her grand dam is Establo Victoria, and her grand sire is Bristol Juan Rojo. This small palomino filly can't be anything but great. She has a beautiful, small, dished head that is just about as cute as it can be. There just aren't that many fillies around like this one. Here is a chance for you to own fantastic bloodlines that come in an incredibly beautiful package.
Lot# 47 : Dakota Sunday Extrodinaire
Extrodinaire is another Colonel daughter with a petite head and a big eye. Head hunters will love this small, appealing mare. She is ready to join your show string and later your broodmare band. She will get the positive kind of attention in the show ring!
Lot# 48 : Dakota Sunday Sensation
Sunday Sensation is a weanling filly sired by B & L's Rock "E" Colonel Sunday. Her dam, Pheasant Run-Rocket's Cindy Lou Who, goes back to the famous Ramble Ridge Rocket. This filly could be show either as a classic or modern pleasure mare. Her dam was reserve yearling modern pleasure filly when she was shown at Congress. Sensation also placed in the top half of her weanling class at Congress this year. She is extremely up headed and sports four white socks. Let her be a winner in your show barn.
Lot# 49 : Wall Street Rainy Day Roxx
This mare is ready to bring the Rock E bloodline to your broodmare band. She is a beautiful deep red sorrel with lots of chrome and a large belly splash. She stands out in any herd of horses. Bloodlines, color --- She has it all!
Lot# 50 : 2011 Palomino Pinto Colt
This colt is one of our best 2011 colts. He has that "it" quality which will get him noticed in the show ring. He has fantastic movement which indicates he will probably excel as a driving horse also. Bristol San Juan(Johnny) has stamped him with the Arenolsa look which has done so well over the years. His bloodlines would indicate that he could be a potential herd sire. He is very upheaded with a dark gold color highlighted with chrome.
Lot# 51 : Ballet On Broadway by George
Attention Buckeroo fans. This palomino mare has Buckeroo in both her sire & dam's bloodlines. She has consistently produced show quality palomino foals. Let her add the legendary Buckeroo bloodlines to your breeding program. She is just the type of mare that makes an outstanding broodmare.
