Sired by Seahorse Gold Melody Bar, AKA Jr. Jr’s sire was Johnstons Gold Bar, one of the last living sons of Gold Melody Boy. Jr’s dam, AF Princess Melody is absolutely my favorite mare. She is sired by the legendary Wittmaacks Mickey Mouse, Another son of Gold Melody Bar. Angel’s dam, DArmond GGs Swiss Miss is one of my few remaining daughters of National Champion Sr. Stallion, 25 ¾” McRaes Mr. GG. Angel’s bite is off, but both her sire and dam have perfect bites, and it should not affect her as a broodmare. Arline is one of the tightest line bred Gold Melody Boy bred mares alive. She is sired by Wittmaacks Mickey Mouse and out of Johnstons Golden Gem, both direct get of Gold Melody Boy. Additionally, Arline has been an excellent producer! Her 2011 filly by Little Kings Buckeroo Czar (pictured)was sold before weaning, and I retained her 2009 filly by Lucky Four Black Velvet Supreme (pictured). Arline did not show heat while she was nursing this year, and we did not breed her back after her filly was weaned in August.

This is another of my favorite mares. She is out of AF Midnight Lace, who is a line bred Gold Melody boy granddaughter (and one of my top three mares). He is also homozygous for agouti, the gene for black points and a black mane and tail. He will always pass it to his foals. Of the 37 foals in the AMHA studbook, 27 are buckskin, and the remainder are cremello and palomino. Additionally, Blanco has a beautiful head and a floating trot. I have retained several of his daughters. He is a perfect gentleman and hand or pasture breeds. He is currently in a group with seven bred mares and everyone gets along. Buck is an own son of Boones Little Buckeroo and out of Smiths Buttermilk Two. Major Bucks has done more for my farm than any stallion I have ever owned. He has produced one beautiful foal after another, including my high selling foal to date. Buck has a turned-under right back foot, but it does not bother him in any way. He is a pleasure to handle and will hand or pasture breed.

To top it off, he was the 2006 RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION STALLION, 28" AND UNDER. In limited breeding Cavalier has produced several exceptional foals. We lost a gorgeous buckskin filly in the sac from a maiden mare and the other is a beautiful palomino.(pictured). This is a stallion that can put your farm on the map!

I absolutely love this little mare. She is so tiny, she has the cutest little head, and she is a sweetheart. Sassy had her first foal (pictured) in 2011, a tiny, 8 lb. filly by Los Arboles the Velvet Fox, who was early, breech and had to be resuscitated and then bottle fed until she was able to stand on her own and nurse. We left the filly on Sassy for 6 months, as she was so tiny and it took her a while to catch up, and Sassy never came in heat while she was nursing, so she is open for 2012.

Reflection is another really nice daughter of JOHNSTONS GOLD BOY (pictured), who I retained for my breeding program. Reflection's dam, La Vista Remarkable Regalia is a beautiful daughter of NFCS Remarkable Rowdy, who I owned. This mare is as nice as they come, and a really easy keeper. She has also been genetically tested and she carries a cremello gene, so she can easily produce palominos, buckskins, and even cremellos when bred to a stallion with a cream gene. Reflection had her first foal late in 2011 - a beautiful buckskin filly by LITTLE KINGS BUCKEROO CZAR. She was a maiden mare and I didn't think she was ready and I found her filly in the sac. Since it was late in the year, she was not bred back. Reflection is another royally bred young mare with her whole life ahead of her!!

I retained this filly as she was one of the nicest daughters by Gold Boy. Princess looks very much like her dam. She is just beautiful with fine bones, a long neck, flat croup, everything you could want. Princess was ultrasound in foal for the first time in 2011, but recently came up open. She is a young mare with her whole life ahead of her.

Paloma is sired by Sids Red Cloud, a full brother to SIDS REBEL. Sids Red Cloud and Sids Rebel are sired by Dippers Duffy and out of Sids April Fool, both who have multiple crosses to GOLD MELODY BOY. Paloma's dam, Wittmaacks Holly Star is sired by Prince Buckingham, a son of JOHNSTONS GOLD BOY and out of Johnstons Starlight, who also has multiple crosses to GOLD MELODY BOY. Paloma's foaling record doesn't look great. Her first filly was born in 03 (she is a multi, multi champion in Europe). She had a colt in 04, and she lost a colt in 06. In 2007 she had Meg (pictured), also in this sale. I did not get her bred in 08 or 09 by hand breeding. I turned her out with a stallion this past year and she has been ultrasound in foal to Seahorse Gold Melody Bar (pictured, also in this sale) for a mid April foal.

I missed a cremello colt the following year. She had a bay colt in 08, nice, but sold as a pet. I missed a buckskin colt in 09. She had a tiny palomino colt in 10 (pictured), but he had pooped in utero and became septic after a few days and we lost him. Finally in 11, she had a beautiful palomino filly, who I also planned to retain, but is also in this sale. Peaches is sired by the SMALLEST NATIONAL CHAMPION SENIOR STALLION IN AMHA HISTORY, MCRAES MR. GG. Peaches dam, L & Bs Missy Blue was a beautiful buckskin mare who was shown extensively and at one time led the country in halter. Peaches had her first foal in 2003, and I sold her shortly thereafter. She was never bred or ever transferred by her new owner. I bought her back, and bred her in 2010 and she had a gorgeous cremello filly in 2011 (pictured). She did not show heat while she was nursing, so she was not bred back for 2012.

Trinket is sired by JOHNSTONS GOLD BOY, and she is definitely on of his nicest daughters. Her dam, Deiles Babe Romper II, is a gorgeous daughter of WITTMAACKS MICKEY MOUSE. Trinket has that deep, deep red color that is needed for a true gold palomino, or a caramel buckskin. She had a beautiful palomino filly in 2010 by Blanco (pictured), that I sold registration app in hand, yet to be registered, and she had another beautiful palomino filly in 2011 (pictured) by Czar, who I planned to retain. Her 2011 filly was born in July, so we did not breed her back for 2012.

Her AMHA papers say UNKNOWN on the bottom side, but her dam's pedigree goes back several generations on her AMHR papers, back to GOLD MELODY BOY. I bought and hardshipped this mare because she is absolutely gorgeous. And it paid off. She has had a baby every year since I have owned her. She had a colt in 07, and fillies in 08 and 09, her 08 filly is pictured. Her 2010 and 2011 babies are not listed in the studbook, as they were colts, and were sold without their papers, but I do have a picture of her with her 2011 baby. He is such a little gentleman, and I do mean little. He is very refined and petite, and he has the most beautiful head you could ask for. He's also produced four National Champions!!! I have loved every one of the foals I have gotten from him. Breed him to some light colored mares and raise some buckskins!!!

Fancy is a gorgeous filly with a wide blaze and she is that rich golden color that is so hard to come by. Another one I was planning to retain. Her papers are at AMHA awaiting PQ.

ALLOWS YOU TO WATCH ONE STALL CONTINUOUSLY, OR SWITCH FROM ONE TO ANOTHER. SETTING BUTTON ALLOWS YOU TO SET THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU SEE EACH STALL.

I USED TWO CAMERAS TO WATCH FOUR STALLS, AS THE WIDE ANGLE LENS COVERS A WIDE AREA. MAIN UNIT HAS BEEN HOUSED IN AN ENCLOSED BOX IN MY BARN. I PURCHASED A NEW TRANSMITTER AND IN HOME RECEIVER IN 2010.

Note - Add a video capture device recommended by Mare Stare and you can stream your cam right to the internet for greater peace of mind during foaling season.
